Welcome to Mountain View Elementary

Welcome to the Home of the Mountain Lions! We are Mountain View Elementary, one of three elementary schools in the Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District No. 35, and we are located in Rio Rico, Arizona. We are proud of our highly qualified staff, our supportive and involved volunteers, and the students who make it all worthwhile.

A Message from our Principal

Hello Mountain View Parents:

We have completed the second quarter, and our students are learning! I want to take this time to invite you to become part our Academic Parent Teacher Team (APTT). We want to create a partnership between parents, students, and teachers to help our students succeed academically. I encourage you to get involved. Find out the purpose behind APTT and help your child achieve academically.

At Mountain View, we believe that a strong partnership between home and school will increase our student academic achievement.  Feel free to contact me or your child’s teacher to find out more about becoming a partner in your child’s education. Together, we will soar and increase our students’ academic achievement.

This letter is also available in Spanish.

Sincerely,

Manuel Carrillo
